Public Transport is a
solo project of Maine native Duncan Bailey, playing electronic
music influenced by early ’90s dream pop and shoegaze. He
started writing music in 1998 and has released music for free on
the Internet for several years. All his music can be found and
shared from his
website.
The music of Public Transport takes the listener on a dreamlike
journey with a clear starting point in chillwave and modern
shoegaze. Electronic pop music filtered through a distorted
lens, with influences from 90`s legendaries like My Bloody
Valentine, Stereolab and Teenage Filmstars.
Duncan Bailey is also a photographer and have a weekly radio
show playing rock and electronic music on
WERU.
'Public Transport EP' is his first release on 23 Seconds
Netlabel.
