La Nueva División (The New Division) born
after a musical union of Juan David Hook and Juan Sebastián
Petróvich, hail from Bogotá, Colombia. They are influenced in
new wave, post punk, industrial, electro, indie, garage, bands
such as: New Order, Joy Division, Happy Mondays, Pixies, Nitzer
Ebb, Ride, D.A.F, Cabaret Voltaire, BRMC, My Bloody Valentine,
The Faint, Ladytron, Sonic Youth, Talking Heads and many more.
Juan Sebastián in the guitar, chill and devasting voice,
sequences, and Juan David in the bass guitar, some crazy
disturbing voices, and sequences, complete the neural projection
of their style based in electro hard synths, melodical guitar
riffs, and experimental deep sounds.
La Nueva División is preparing their first EP, recording at
“Daniel Zarannet” studios, with a professional technique,
improving their empiricist style.
Juan Sebastián is a experimental films director, he also made
music video “Dark Dance” by Diletante.
Juan David is musical producer of local indie/electro/garage
bands “The Kurtiz Band” and “Diletante”, he also have his own
project called "kernel 32"
